THE MILTON COUNCIL SCHOOLS MEMORIAL TABLET
(ALSO KNOWN AT THE BUTTS SCHOOL)
The council school lost many former pupils in WW1. After the
war the headmaster Mr McIsaac undertook to form a memorial. This wasa
wooden structure with the names painted. This memorial dissappeared for
many years. During photography at the HOly Trinity Sittingbourne i was
informed that this memorial was going to be re installed. That is
heartening news.
